We couldn't be more pleased with our students progress and development as dancers and young ladies throughout each competitive season. An Essentials Dance Company competitive dancer is a confident but gracious dancer with qualities such as strength, courage, support of others, responsibility for their own preparedness, and a multitude of other award winning qualities that make us a very strong team. Students thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally in our competitive program and we encourage you to get involved as soon as you are eligible. Conventions
Whether you are a recreational dancer or a competitive dancer, dance conventions are instrumental in a student's progress. Imagine sharing your love for dance with dancers from other studios, other cities, and other states, all while taking class from professional dancers from L.A and New York. Dance conventions expose dancers to a variety of different styles and lots of different techniques to achieve one common goal...great dancing. Students learn in many different ways and sometimes it just takes hearing or seeing a step presented in a new way to make all of the difference. Master teachers at dance conventions have just that to offer you...a new perspective on the steps you are working on at home to the latest music with new interesting styles. Dance Conventions take place at either the Hilton or Cook Convention Center. Most conventions offer a one day rate or even a half day for first time convention goers.
